Half of the USA adults vaccinated, CDC claims!

Recently, CDC  provided the latest update related to the covid-19 vaccination. This update claims that 50 percent of the adults in the USA are now vaccinated. However, the officials state that yet there is a need to keep going to prevent future outbreaks.

On Sunday, the data published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that at least 25 states in U.S.A plus Washington DC have now fully vaccinated at least half of the adults. Notably, this involves the individuals of the states Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Washington state, and Wisconsin.

The state with the highest proportion of adults who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is Maine. It has more than 62 percent of the people of the age group 18. The ones who are above 18 years have received their shots. Beyond the USA, abruptly 61.3 percent of the American adults have received at least one covid shot and 49.6 percent are fully immunized, claims CDC data.

The CDC information defines that out of the total population of the Nation, more than 49percent have taken at least one shot of vaccine. Further, it mentions that more than 39 percent of the citizens are fully vaccinated. Andy Slavitt,  the White House Senior Covid-19 adviser addressed a meet-up. She mentioned, “Across the country, cases of Covid-19, serious illness and loss of life are all down dramatically.” Further, she added, “And they can be brought down even further and the risk of a future wave in your community significantly reduced if we keep up the pace of vaccinations.”

As per the data of CDC, in the past week, the US has averaged more than 25,000 new cases. In addition, there were more than 540 new Covid-19 deaths reported every day.
