Once again, Britney Spears’ Father, Jamie Spears has responded to his role as a conservator in the Conservatorship of the Pop lady. Notably, Jamie has stated that he will himself step-off as a Conservator when the time would be right.
Amidst the reports, Jamie is denying and refusing to get out of the Conservatorship and still wants to hold control of his daughter’s estates. A few days back, his attorney, Vivian Lee Thoreen too filed the new document in the court and claimed all such allegations ‘unjustified attacks.’
Additionally, Jamie too clarified that there occur ‘no grounds whatsoever to get him out of the Conservatorship in the document. He has also clarified that he has ‘dutifully and faithfully served’ being the conservator to Britney, though the pop singer professes that he misused his powers.
Britney, the singer is trapped in the web of this deadly Conservatorship and is fighting to her best to remove her father, Mr. Spears from it. In 2008, the singer suffered badly from her mental health issues which occurred due to this Conservatorship trauma.
However, further, in June, Spears bravely took a stand for herself and spoke about the trauma and breakdown, she is suffering from. She alleged that she can’t get married, cannot drive a car on her own, and also can’t remove her IUD, despite she’s been working constantly in the media.
That time, Spears defended herself and claimed, “I wanted to have the right to sue her family, who she believes took advantage of her situation.” Further, in a hearing done by the court in July, Britney also accused Jamie Spears that he has been controlling her estate, of ‘Abuse.’
As per the document, obtained by the media officials, it states, “There are, in fact, no actual grounds for suspending or removing Mr. Spears as the Conservator of the Estate. And it is highly debatable whether a change in conservator at this time would be in Ms. Spears’ best interests.”
The documents also read, “Mr. Spears is willing to step down when the time is right, but the transition needs to be orderly and include a resolution of matters pending before the Court. In order to reach that result, the Court should encourage all interested parties to meet and confer in order to resolve those pending matters in the best interests of Ms. Spears.”
Significantly, Spears’ father and his attorney also mentioned the mental illness of his daughter in the court document. They have claimed Jamie has helped his daughter at a time when she was “in crisis, desperately in need of help” after Britney was “suffering mentally and emotionally” and “being manipulated by predators and in financial distress.”
Also, Mr. Jamie has noted that he was there at his daughter’s rescue to protect her.
However, this wasn’t the end, Jamie’s lawyer also responded and slammed his ex-wife, Lynn as she recently filed a petition in the court. In that petition, Lynn noted that her daughter, Britney must be provided the freedom to appoint and opt for the attorney of her own choice. Further, she also stated that the singer is suffering from the ‘fear and issues’ within her.
However, filling filed by Vivian, on behalf of her client read, “Instead of criticizing Mr. Spears, Lynne should be thanking him for ensuring Ms. Spears’ well-being and for persevering through the years-long tenure requiring his 365/24/7 attention, long days and sometimes late-night, to deal with day-to-day and emergency issues — all to protect Ms. Spears and those around her charged with protecting his daughter. Lynne has had only limited involvement in Ms. Spears’ life these last thirteen years. She has not had a parental role in her life for decades.”
On the other hand, Britney’s mother also reacted via her attorney and replied, “Lynne Spears is pleased Jamie has agreed to step down. Lynne entered into this conservatorship to protect her daughter almost three years ago.”
Thus, Gladstone N. Jones, II, in a statement clarified, “She has accomplished what she set out to do. She will have no further comment.”
Also, Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart came forward and said, that this is the first step for the singer towards her victory and yet another move for her towards the awaited justice. He stated, “I announced in Court on July 14 that, after 13 years of the status quo, it was time for Mr. Spears to be suspended or removed as conservator and that my firm and I would move aggressively and expeditiously for that outcome.”
He also added and mentioned, “Twelve days later, my firm filed a Petition for Mr. Spears’ suspension and removal based on strong, insurmountable legal grounds, which were unequivocally supported by the law and all parties involved, including Jodi Montgomery, Britney Spears, and her medical team. We are pleased that Mr. Spears and his lawyer have today conceded in a filing that he must be removed. We are disappointed, however, by their ongoing shameful and reprehensible attacks on Ms. Spears and others. ”
Significantly, the conservator of Britney Spears, alleged that the estate of the singer to pay for the security following the death threats Britney received amid the media-grown coverage and also demanded security services for 24 hours.
However, Jamie Spears, Britney Spears’s father disagreed and objected to the request of Montgomery for 24/7 live security services, estimated at over $50,000 per month.
Her lawyer also noted that Spears and her loved ones seek and look forward to justice. He said, “We look forward to continuing our vigorous investigation into the conduct of Mr. Spears, and others, over the past 13 years, while he reaped millions of dollars from his daughter’s estate, and I look forward to taking Mr. Spears’ sworn deposition in the near future.
Britney, Attorneys are also saying that her father must leave and be out of the Conservatorship, instead of making such cheap and odd slots for his own daughter, by calling her mentally sick.
Last month, Spears’ lawyer, Samuel Ingham III who was appointed by the court resigned from this duty. Furthermore, Mathew Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor was appointed by the court, as her attorney.
There was news revealed on the social media of Singer’s hearing, that the judge approved the case and the case from her side is more ‘Stronger.’
that time, the actress opened up and shared her feelings via her Instagram profile, with a celebration post.
That time, she wrote, “Coming along, folks … coming along!!!!! New with real representation today … I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED !!!! Thank you to my fans who are supporting me … You have no idea what it means to me to be supported by such awesome fans !!!! God bless you all !!!!! Pssss this is me celebrating by horseback riding and doing cartwheels today !!! #FreeBritney.”
