Hailing from Jaipur, Akshat faced a major setback during campus placements at JECRC Engineering College, where he was among only five students out of 300 to be eliminated in the first round. However, today, he is the proud owner of Brain Box Apps, a mobile app development company with a multi-million turnover!
A Shocking Setback in Campus Placements
Akshat recalls, “All my friends were dreaming of landing jobs at big companies like Capgemini, but I received a harsh blow when I failed the aptitude test. The taunts from friends and family further dented my confidence.”
Finding Strength in His Mother’s Words
During this challenging time, Akshat’s mother offered him unwavering support. She reassured him, saying, “This failure is not the end; something greater is planned for you.” Inspired by her words, Akshat decided to forge his own path.
The Birth of Brain Box Apps
Motivated by his father’s struggles, who ran a small business dealing in plastic granules, Akshat resolved to start something of his own. With the help of some friends, he ventured into the IT industry and launched Brain Box Apps in January 2020.
Struggles and Subsequent Success
The initial days were tough, with a lack of clients and projects, but Akshat refused to give up. He began taking on small freelance jobs through online platforms, gradually building his client base. Today, Brain Box Apps serves over 600 companies and has become a multi-million-dollar business.

Recently, Akshat Chaturvedi was honored with the Best Employer Brand Award at the Rajasthan Innovation Leadership Award 2022, showcasing the success of his company. This award was presented by the World Innovation Congress.
